SILKO'S HOUSE

PROJECT OVERVIEW

To support local families affected by Hurricane Beryl, RISE GRENADA joined forces with Spear It Animal and the United Aid Foundation to rebuild the home of Silko, a skilled boatbuilder in Carriacou, and his daughter. Their house was completely destroyed in the storm, leaving them without a safe place to live. We supplied the necessary tools and building materials for the reconstruction, while the labor was generously provided by our partners. This collaborative effort not only helps Silko and his daughter return to a secure home but also strengthens community ties and demonstrates the power of working together in times of need.

While the rebuilding of Silko’s house is a significant achievement, there are still many families who require assistance. Your continued support is essential to sustain these efforts and help more people rebuild their lives. Together, we can make a lasting impact and help Carriacou recover stronger than ever.

Join us in this crucial mission. Your donations and support are vital for the continuation of our relief efforts.
